This seems really unfair, but CSZ seems to take less damage from them than usual. You'll have to do what should be called the Mileena Strategy here, because Sektor's teleports are his best weapon: if you're grounded and at about jump distance, turtle up, wait for Sektor to whiff his teleport, then counter him. Adding insult to injury is the fact that you're not allowed to do CSZ's X-Ray attack even when it's fully charged. Of course, the best strategy is to use all his moves together, but again, it's unnecessary if you're just blitzing through Story Mode to get all the unlocks.Īs far as this particular fight goes, Sektor is seriously aggressive and a real pain in the butt because he will combo you into next week. If you like Cyrax in other modes, you can always play CSZ like Cyrax and ignore his Iceballs. On Normal difficulty, as I'm sure you've seen by now, you don't necessarily have to play with maximum effectiveness, so you probably won't need to deal with every single move CSZ can do. Personally, I play CSZ like I do normal Sub-Zero, except I make use of the teleports. CSZ basically comes down at a 45-degree angle, though he seems to adjust himself if the opponent is very far or very close. Throw in the Ice Balls, and you have quite a few options.Īlso, CSZ's X-Ray attack is done from the air: jump then hit your X-Ray to activate it. He's got a simple combo, as well as a combo. Unlike every other character you've played up to this point, you've not yet had a chance to practice with CSZ until now, so you'll want to get used to him against Sektor here. He's got everything normal Sub-Zero has, plus a teleport and Cyrax-like bombs. Cyber Sub-Zero sports an awesome array of moves.
